From Kickstarter’s Year in Review: The Stats. There seems to be zero lag between hovering over a pie section and the details changing/updating.
Plus, it’s kind of fun to just swing the cursor around in a circle and watch them all light up. (:

Ooh, lots of points for the typeface choice on that title. Totally screams Mystery Novel, I love it. I like the idea of the video paintings as well: it’s fun seeing some of these actors outside their usual range (e.g. who knew Wasikowska could smirk like that?).
Help Ink sells posters and lets you choose a charity to receive a portion of that purchase’s profit. That is pretty sweet.
Also sweet: that detail page layout. I’m a sucker for the grayscale noise to start with, throw in a bit of teal and a color palette and there’s no chance I won’t be fan. (:
The general layout and the photography that Gilt has going for its new Taste site is pretty fab. Well-shot, large photos and lots of info about the items and where they come from. Good stuff. (Don’t miss the Stories blog.)
(Love the star anise in the background, too.)

Dana Tanamachi’s designs and lettering in chalk are 100% swoon-worthy. I love both the detail in each piece and necessarily temporary nature (hooray for photos, no?).
